Welcome to the Bear Island Bulletin Board. We hope you find the information contained here useful. The Bulletin Board is comprised of 3 sections:
- Items for Sale – Postings for items for sale
- Lost and Found – Postings for pets/items that are lost or found
- Vendor Services – List of vendors that have been recommended by your neighbors.
If you have an item for sale, or a lost or found notice, submit the information to the Bear Island Gmail account (bearislandhomeowners@gmail.com). The Gmail account is monitored daily, so submissions should be timely. Your information can include a write up and pictures. Once received, the information will be created in a document and posted in the appropriate section on the bulletin board.
At a minimum, a submission for items for sale or lost and found, should include a description, a way to contact you, and no more than 4 pictures if you wish to share them. There is no limitation on the write up. This is for Bear Island residents only. Garage sales are not permitted in the neighborhood.
If you wish to submit a recommendation for the Vendor Services list, simply send an email to the Bear Island Gmail account with the vendor’s name, service provided, and vendor’s phone number.
Postings in the Items for Sale or Lost and Found sections will be removed after 30 days if not notified that they need to remain posted. If you find your posting removed and you wish it reposted, you can resubmit your original email.
The Bear Island Homeowners Association and its Board of Directors does not warrant the condition of items being offered for sale, or the capabilities and quality of workmanship of vendors on the Vendor Services List. They are not responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted by residents. Please do not submit requests for postings of a political nature, garage sales, business cards, requests for donations or sponsorships. Thank you.
