Gatehouse attendants do their best to screen incoming vehicles. Without advanced notice the Gatehouse personnel are instructed to call your home for consent to enter, without which entrance will be denied.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can help visitors and gatehouse personnel by providing a list of visitors whom they can admit without screening. Use the <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1SPe-u-NY51OmQTmQFNtRoKvfoFJXunFI\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resident Information Form<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0to add, remove or change visitors and your home telephone numbers. MMI needs 48 hours to process these forms.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Vendor and parking rules:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Just a reminder, vendors and contractors working on your home must be off the property by 6 p.m., unless it is an emergency. An emergency is defined as:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no air conditioning when the temperature is above 80 degrees,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no heat when the temperature drops below 65 degrees,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">no electricity or<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a leak in your plumbing.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><b>Transponders:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Bear Island homeowners can attach a transponder to their vehicles to enter the community without having to stop at the Gatehouse. To obtain a transponder, use the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bearisland.us\/2.0\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Purchase-Application-for-RFID-Tag-051922.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transponder Application<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
